Recently, complex software systems have been actively developed for various aspects of production and life, such as transportation (e.g., airplanes), healthcare (e.g., insulin pumps), and infrastructure (e.g., smart grids). These are all cyber-physical systems.

The main aspects of such cyber-physical systems (CPS) are interaction with the physical world and communication with other systems. These aspects pose new challenges in the development and implementation of reliable, secure and performant software and require an interdisciplinary approach in the fields of computer science, robotics, embedded systems and artificial intelligence.

The main goal of the track is to train researchers and specialists who will develop complex manufacturing and robotic systems of the next generation.
