Russian
Educational program "Chemical materials science" at bachelor's level
The program arose as a response to the needs of modern science and industry for novel advanced materials.
mplemented at INSM UrFU since 2014.
UrFU's own educational standard in the field of mathematical and natural sciences.
Features of the program:
- Multi-purpose, interdisciplinary approach with classic university quality of teaching:
- Fundamental basic knowledge and skills in all areas of modern chemistry and the main sections of modern theoretical and experimental physics
- Ample opportunities for independent research work in scientific groups from the 3rd year
- Individualization of training - specialization and completion of graduate work in one of the popular areas of modern materials science
- Individualization of training - selection of a team for training in non-core disciplines. Division by foreign language - by level of proficiency. In mathematics - division by level of preparation
- Additional qualifications in metrology or programming
- Look at the “Learning Paths” tab
They are involved in teaching:
- Department of Fundamental and Applied Chemistry of the School of Undergraduate Studies, Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (INSMA);
- Chairs of School of Sciences, INSMA.
- Chair of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry;
- Chair of Organic Chemistry and Macromolecular Compounds;
- Chair of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, School of Sciences, INSMA.
What can graduates do?
- Auxiliary research activities in the field of modern materials science
- Practical application of fundamental knowledge in the field of chemistry, physics and mechanics of materials in order to obtain new substances and materials
- Quality control of raw materials and manufactured products.
- Continuation of studies in master's programs in chemistry, physics, materials science and related sciences.
The development of communication skills and organizational abilities is helped by:
