PROGRAM FEATURES
The program prepares lawyers involved in legal support of business activities.
It is aimed at obtaining basic knowledge in the field of jurisprudence with a focus on the legal regulation of the economy.
Graduates of the program can work as corporate lawyers in public and private companies - economic entities, in government bodies that regulate and control the activities of economic entities, and engage in private practice to protect the interests of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in civil, administrative and criminal cases. The program can become the basis for studying in the legal magistracy and, accordingly, training personnel for the judiciary.
The program “Business Law” is aimed at comprehensive training of a lawyer for the economic sphere, therefore it includes training in general theoretical disciplines (theory of state and law, etc.), disciplines of a private law nature (civil law, etc.) and public law nature ( administrative law, criminal law, etc.). The program is complemented by modern legal disciplines that ensure the acquisition of competencies necessary for the work of a lawyer in the digital economy and the implementation of innovative entrepreneurship.
The program is implemented on the basis of the Department of Legal Regulation of Economic Activities of the Institute of Economics and Management, which has been providing legal training to university specialists for more than 15 years. The department employs three doctors of science, 11 candidates of legal sciences, practicing lawyers, court employees, and experts.
The continuous educational trajectory of the program graduate is ensured by the master’s program “Legal support of economic activity in the digital environment” in the direction of “Jurisprudence”, which is open at the Institute of Economics and Management. Graduates who want to improve their qualifications have the necessary knowledge, which gives them a significant advantage over graduates of other programs when entering this master's program.
AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
- company lawyer (in-house lawyer);
- legal consulting (private legal practice or work in companies providing legal services to economic entities);
- specialist in competition law;
- specialist in real estate transactions;
- lawyer in the field of notaries;
- assistant referee;
- lawyer in government bodies that regulate or control the activities of economic entities.

- represent the interests of economic entities in courts and other law enforcement agencies;
